Two additions to the Minuteman EnSpire series of UPSs, the EN750 and EN900, provide features that suit home-office and small-to-medium-sized businesses, including security, VoIP, small servers, network peripherals, and home entertainment systems. They provide energy savings when the internal battery is fully charged, by entering a rest mode, and they operate at over 90% efficiency while in ac normal mode.
The EN900 is a 900-VA 500-W 120-Vac standby UPS, and the EN750 is a 750-VA 400-W 120-Vac UPS unit. Both units measure 12.4 x 7.2 x 3.3 in., weigh 9.7 lbs, and have 320-J maximum energy dissipation. They are designed for desktop, floor, or wall mounting, supply 4.7 min of full-load backup time, and 12.2 min of half-load time. (EN900, $109; EN750, $99 — available now.)
