The user-configurable Sfernice PLAC 100 planar transformer is designed to work with various switch-mode power supply applications, including military, avionic, and medical systems. The transformer comes with software that allows designers to vary settings such as the type of power supply and the desired levels of input voltage, output voltage, power, and frequency. Once these variables are entered, the software automatically determines the appropriate configuration and which outputs should be connected to obtain the best performance.
Typical applications for the transformer include military, avionic, and medical systems. Frequency range for the PLAC 100 is 50 to 400 kHz. The transformer can handle up to 220 W.
