Analyzer extension eases network testing

The ZVAX24 hardware extension unit lets ZVA family vector network analyzers more easily make intermodulation or pulse profile measurements and handle applications up to 43 dBm without problems. The unit can be cost-effectively tailored to individual applications with combiners, harmonic filters, pulse modulators, and high-power couplers.

The extension sits under the analyzer so the instruments’ RF ports can be connected with semirigid coax. Via its USB port, the ZVAX24 is controlled by the analyzer, which displays a dialog box and the extension’s block diagram so users can select the RF components needed for a test task.
