Sulfur-resistant resistors combine low cost, high accuracy
Developed as a low-cost alternative to high-power thick-film resistors, the RNCP Series thin-film resistors are invulnerable to sulfur contamination. Suited for use in computer and computer accessory applications, the devices offer absolute tolerances to 1%, a TCR of 100 ppm/°C with power ratings from 0.1 to 0.5 W and maximum working voltages from 50 to 200 V.
The resistors are RoHS-compliant without exemptions, use only Pb-free glass, and eliminate the silver and gold used in traditional sulfur-resistant components. Available in 0402, 0603, 0805, and 1206 chip sizes, the series is available on standard 7-in. reels. (From approx $1/1,000 to $10/1,000 in full-reel quantities — available now.)
