The second generation of the ADRES processor architecture IP supports multithreading and has double the performance of the first generation. Available for licensing, the multithreaded ADRES V2 targets wireless, multimedia, mobile terminal, and software-defined radio single- and multi-processor systems.
The 40-nm technology processor supports 600-Mbit/s 802.11.n on two cores using just 220 mW total. Next generations of this core will support wide SIMD and full 4G. (Contact company for license terms — available now.)
