Half-bridge driver IC suits automotive apps

The AUIR2085S automotive-qualified control IC targets low-, mid-, and high-voltage automotive drive applications including dc/dc converters, HEV auxiliary converters, and battery management converters. It has a self-oscillating half-bridge 100-V driver IC with 50% duty cycle.

The control IC features an integrated soft-start capacitor that gradually increases duty cycle from 0 to 50% for 5 ms to limit in-rush current during start up, and maintains equal pulse widths for the high- and low-side MOSFETs throughout the start-up sequence. Other features include ±1-A gate drive current and 50 to 200–ns adjustable deadtime. ($1.71 ea/100,000 — available now.)
