Small ceramic antennas cover entire UHF band
The 35 x 5 x 1.2-mm VJ 3505 and the 10.5 x 15.5 x 1.2-mm VJ 6040 high-performance multilayer ceramic chip antennas can cover UHF bands from 470 to 860 MHz. The antennas feature a 50Ω unbalanced interface, operating temperature range of –40° to 85°C and are omnidirectional with linear polarization.
The devices are designed to be assembled onto a PC board in the standard reflow process. The MBRAI standard and RoHS-compliant antennas suit portable consumer electronics such as mobile phones, multimedia devices, and notebook computers. (VJ 6040, $1.70; VJ 3505, $2.50 — 8 weeks ARO.)
