The GORE Filters family of hydrophobic filters for manufacturing bulk high-purity chemicals, incorporates their proprietary high-flow ePTFE (expanded polytetrafluoroethylene) technology. Used in semiconductor and electronics fabrication, the filters are said to deliver up to a 200% improvement in flow over filters with the same retention rating.
The increased performance in flow can increase process capacity, decrease the number of filters needed, or as a drop-in retention upgrade that maintains system flow capacity.
