The XPort6102 ruggedized XMC storage module with up to 160-Gbyte capacity uses NAND flash and can operate within the –40° to 85°C temperature range and the rigorous shock and vibration conditions of MIL-STD-810F. The card has a XMC PCI Express x1 interface, can be conduction- or air-cooled, and has five SATA controllers.
The device is configurable to RAID 0 or RAID 1 and features 100-Mbit/s write and 220-Mbit/s read performance (RAID 0). The card is based on reliable SLC NAND flash and is specified for 100,000 program/erase cycles. It comes in five ruggedization levels. (From $2,335 — available now.)
