The 2850TA and 2251TA transimpedance amplifiers (TIA) are suited for 100G coherent receiver and 40G DQPSK receiver applications, respectively. The dual-differential linear 2850TA is the first 100G coherent transimpedance/variable-gain amplifier (TIA/VGA) available that is compliant with the Optical Internetworking Forum’s (OIF) rigorous standards and offers a bandwidth of greater than 25 GHz, a THD of less than 5%, and a power dissipation of 250 mW/ch.
The 2251TA, a single differential linear device, offers a sensitivity of greater than –10 dBm and less than 5% THD. It operates from a 3.3-V supply, consumes 250 mW typ, and supports data rates up to 22.5 Gbit/s. (Call company for pricing — samples available now.)
