Hall-effect sensor suits automotive apps

Used for magnetic field measurements, current measurements and detection of any mechanical movement in automotive and industrial applications, the HAL 1821/1822/1823 universal magnetic field sensors offer a ratiometric, linear analog output. The parts operate with static magnetic fields and dynamic fields up to 1 kHz. The HAL1821/2/3 offer a sensitivity of 50, 31.25, and 25 mV/mT, respectively. All parts offer an offset voltage of 50% of VDD.

Junction temperature is from –40° to 170°C and operating voltage is from 4.5 to 5.5 V. Additional features include on-chip temperature compensation, and overvoltage and reverse-voltage protection on VDD pin. (From 0.65 to 0.75 euros, ea/100,000 — samples available 2nd qtr.)
