Tiny digital pots reduce current consumption

Targeting consumer and industrial applications, the MCP4341, MCP4342 (MCP434X), MCP4361, and MCP4362 (MCP436X) quad digital potentiometers deliver a static current consumption of 5 µA max. These 7- and 8-bit nonvolatile parts features an SPI interface and operate from –40° to 125°C.

The devices are available in 14- and 20-pin TSSOPs, as well as in 4 x 4-mm QFN packages. (Ea/10,000: MCP4341/2, $1.00; MCP4361/2, $1.34 — samples available now.)
