Well suited for satellite communication and test and measurement applications, the SFS6520A-LF frequency synthesizer in C-band operates at 6,520 MHz. This part features a typical phase noise of –90 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset and typical sideband spurs of –65 dBc.

It is designed to deliver a typical output power of 6 dBm with a VCO voltage supply of 5 Vdc while drawing 40 mA typ and a phase-locked-loop voltage of 3 Vdc while drawing 11 mA typ over the temperature range of –40° to 80°C. This synthesizer features typical 2nd harmonic suppression of –20 dBc and comes in a PLL-V12N package measuring 0.60 x 0.60 x 0.13 in. (Call company for pricing — available now.)
