System offers high port density, small footprint

Featuring port spacing on a 7-mm centerline, the modular-designed RJ point five connector system offers double the port density of standard RJ 45 Ethernet link while maintaining field termination capability. The connector supports Gigabit speeds of Cat5E UTP cable, in integrated and non-integrated magnetic solutions, with a roadmap to support PoE+ and 10GBase-T over Cat 6a cable.

The quadrant-style mating cable assembly has a latching feature and lanyard that enables up to 96 ports on a single line card, and can field terminate.
