High-performance SMT inductors are industry’s smallest
The SMP1210S is said to be the industry’s first surface-mount power inductor series to provide values from 1.0 to 100 µH and current ratings from 205 to 1,384 mA dc in a recommended 1.78 x 3.05 x 3.3-mm-footprint. The inductors suit microprocessor and distributed-power applications, as well as automotive electronics, medical diagnostic equipment, and industrial process control equipment.
The series also offers saturation current ratings from 200 to 2,060 mA dc. Coupling is less than 4% with 1 mm of spacing between components, and operating temperature is –55° to 125°C. Products are supplied on tape and reel. (Contact Denis Kohlhagen for pricing and availability.)
