Available in up to 10 positions, the 810 Series horizontal SMT spring-loaded connectors suit low-profile interconnections parallel to the PCB surface. The 0.045-in. midstroke version allows for up to 0.025 in. more travel than most standard-series spring pins, with a 0.252-in. overall length when compressed. The pins are mounted on 0.100-in. pitch in high-temperature thermoplastic insulators for all typical reflow soldering processes.

Designed for a minimum of 1 million cycle lives, the spring pins are rated a 2-A continuous voltage (3 A peak) and plated with 20-µin. gold over nickel on the piston and base, with 10-µin. gold over nickel plating on the beryllium copper internal spring.
