The MAX2136 digital terrestrial television tuner for ISDB-T and DVB-T applications achieves a noise figure of 3.8 dB while consuming only 210 mW. Additionally, the tuner supports the reception of signals as large as 10 dBm while maintaining a sensitivity of –99 dBm. On-chip tracking filters, low-pass filters, and LNAs eliminate the need for expensive external components. The device suits automotive TV systems, consumer LCD TVs, and portable navigation devices.
