Converters in SIP8 package offer 4:1 input

The AM3GH-Z series single- and dual-output buck dc/dc converters are housed in an SIP8 (21.85 x 9.2 x 11.1-mm) package. They accept 4:1 input ranges from 4.5 to 18 Vdc, 9 to 36 Vdc, and 18 to 75 Vdc with an input/output isolation of 1,600 Vdc.

Output currents of up to 700 mA are delivered to regulated single- and dual-output voltage ranges of 3.3, 5, 12, and 15 V, at high-efficiency rates of up to 82%. They suit industrial and portable power applications. The series includes continuous short-circuit protection, ripple and noise of 30 mVp-p, cold start up at –40°C with an operating temperature range of –40° to 85°C.
