The 2-A ADP2119 and 1.25-A ADP2120 are step-down dc/dc switching regulators that include low on-resistance switching FETs and deliver 93% power conversion efficiency. Internal loop compensation and integrated soft-start circuitry are featured and enable high-density solutions for PoL applications. The current-mode devices provide a 1.2-MHz fixed switching frequency and a 2.3 to 5.5-V operating range.
The switching regulators provide an output voltage that is adjustable from 0.6 V to VIN , and are available in preset output voltage options of 3.3, 2.5, 1.8, 1.5, 1.2, and 1.0 V. They are available in 3 x 3-mm lead-frame chipscale packages. The devices provide OVP, OCP, UVLO, and thermal-shutdown protection. (Ea/1,000; ADP2119, $1.27; ADP2120, $1.17 available now.)
