Unitec size S enclosures, which have external dimensions of approximately 4.9 x 7 x 2.7 in., are available in 12 different models. The cases two inclined operating panels are mounted at right angles to each other to allow simultaneous input of data on one side and readout on the other, to accommodate such face-to-face applications as a salesperson with a customer or a doctor with a patient.
The cases are molded in off-white ABS (UL 94 HB) and consist of a top part, rear-facing front part, and base panel which interlock and are secured by two self-tapping screws.The units are available with optional recess depths on the operating faces of 0.023 or 0.055 in. to accommodate labels or membrane keypads, and can be ordered with a three- or five-AA-battery compartment with clip-on lid that can be screwed down for added security. A wall-suspension element that allows the case to be mounted in different orientations is available as an accessory, and optional customization is offered. (From $33 available now.)
