Projector LED accepts 6A to produce more lm

Housed in a 3.9 x 3.6-mm footprint package, the OSTAR Compact LED can now be pulsed (typically at 120 Hz for 2 ms at a standard temperature of 25°C) with 6 A to produce outputs of 350 lm in the amber version, 600 lm in the green version, and 165 lm in the blue version.

The LED’s thermal resistance has been reduced to 3 K/W, compared to 6 K/W for the previous model, which had the same footprint. The 2-mm2 chip uses improved epitaxial processes and more even power distribution. (Contact Francis Nguyen for pricing and availability.)
