Fiber-optic switch handles 10-Gbit OM3

The QuickSwitch Model 6297 Optical LC duplex A/Offline/B switch handles multimode 3 (OM3) fiber and features serial remote. It selects one of two fiber-optic networks and works with laser enhanced 10-Gbit applications using MEMS-based mirror/prism technology.

The unit switches to the offline position before switching to A or B and when power is lost. It has local pushbutton control. Fiber ports are OM3 LC duplex, 50/125-µm multimode at 850 nm. ($4,340 — available now.)
