200-W half-brick converter suits raiway apps

Part of the CN-A dc/dc converter series, the CN200A is a 200-W model. Like the other models in the series, the converters operate from 60 to 160-Vdc inputs and are available with output voltages from 5 to 24 Vdc (adjustable ±10%). They offer output power ratings of 30, 50, 100, and now 200 W.

The dc/dc converters are regulated and isolated power modules. The 30 to 100-W modules come in the industry-standard quarter-brick footprint, and the new 200-W units are packaged in a half-brick footprint. The 200-W models have a current-share feature that suits paralleling two or more units for high-power applications. The modules suit rolling stock and fixed installations, meet shock and vibration requirements of IEC61373 Category 1 Class B, as well as JIS E 4031 standard. These baseplate-cooled power converters have standard pinouts and provide full output power from –40° to 100°C at baseplate without deratings. ($141 ea/500 — available now.)
