16-bit ADC samples at 250 MSPS

Providing a new level of signal-processing performance for communications, test and measurement, and defense electronics applications, the 16-bit 250-Msample/s AD9467 A/D converter is offered as the fastest in the industry. The device features an SFDR of up to 100 dBFs (90 dBFs up to 300 MHz), an SNR of 76.4 dBFs, and a power consumption of 1.35 W.

Additional features include 60-fs rms jitter, SPI support, an on-chip IF sampling circuit and buffered analog inputs, and a programmable full-scale input range, which allows tradeoff between SNR and SFDR. Also available is the AD9467-200, which supports 200 Msamples/s and consumes 1.3 W. Both offer a supply voltage is 3.3 and 1.8 V and are housed in 72-lead LFCSPs. (Ea/1,000: AD9467, $120, AD9467-200, $100; evaluation platform, $300 — samples available now.)
