IQ modulator suits wireless infrastructure

Targeting he TRF372017 IQ modulator integrates a direct upconversion IQ modulator with a PLL and wideband VCO to simplify local oscillator (LO) design and reduce board space. The part provides an ultra-wide continuous tuning range from 300 to 4,800 MHz.

Housed in a QFN-48, the part achieves an OIP3 of 26 dBm and a low noise floor of –160 dBm/Hz. The TRF372017 is included on the DAC3283 evaluation module, which offers a complete digital-to-RF platform for rapid evaluation of a complete transmit solution.
