The XPedite5500 high performance air-cooled PrPMC/XMC compute module uses a QorIQ P2020 processor with two 1.2-GHz PowerPC e500 cores. The module hasu up to 4 Gbytes of DDR3-800 ECC SDRAM, and up to 8 Gbytes of NAND flash and 256 Mbytes of redundant NOR flash.
The card operates from 0 to 55°C, takes just 15 W, has a 32-bit, 66/33-MHz PCI on PMC interface, a x4 PCI Express or a Serial RapidIO XMC interface, and two Gigabit Ethernet ports to the backplane and one to front panel. Rounding out interfaces are two serial ports to P14/P16 on the backplane and two serial ports and one USB port to the front panel. (From $2,795 — available now.)
