SoC eases embedding RF in wireless sensor networks
Designed for a range of remote, battery-powered wireless sensor network applications, the ADuCRF101 radio SoC integrates all of the RF transmit and receive functions, data conversion, and processing elements required to enable a fully programmable radio in a 64-lead LFCSP package. The part features a 12-bit A/D converter, a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 processor core, on-chip SRAM and flash memory and an ISM-band radio transceiver.
Additional features include transceiver frequencies of 862 to 928 MHz and 431 to 464 MHz, data rates of 1 to 300 kbits/s, transmit power of –20 to 12 dBm, a receiver sensitivity of 107.5 dBm at 38.4 kbits/s, and an operating current of 8.7 to 32 mA in TX mode and 12.8 mA in RX mode.
