Snap-in alum capacitors offer effective cooling

The B43540* (85°C), B43543* (105°C), B43505* (105°C) series snap-in aluminum electrolytic capacitors enable optimal contact to heat sinks. Featuring a winding design, the capacitors can efficiently cool link circuit capacitors and increase their ripple current capability and operating life.

The design also reduces longitudinal tolerance to ±0.2 mm and ESR values to 60°C. These reductions mean that entire capacitor banks can be connected via thin thermal pads to heat sinks without problems. The RoHS-compatible devices are offered with optional insulating PET shrunk sleeve and mounted thermal pads. (From $6 each — 36 weeks ARO.)
