Processors combine TMS320, Cortex A8

The C6A8168 and C6A8167 Integra processors combine a TMS320C674x floating- and fixed-point DSP and an ARM Cortex-A8 processor. Peripherals include a PCIe Gen2 port, SATA 2.0, dual Gigabit Ethernet MACs, and dual 32-bit DDR2/DDR3 interfaces.

The ICs’ DSP and A8 cores operate at up to 1.5 GHz. The A8 core has 32-Kbyte instruction and data caches, 256-Kbyte L2 cache, 64-Kbyte RAM, and 48-Kbyte boot ROM. The chip has HDMI TX and USB 2.0 interfaces and supports two displays at up to 1,920 x 1,280 resolution, with 3D graphics on the C6A8168 device. (From $46 ea/1,000 samples available now.)
