The BR Series radial-leaded current-sense resistors feature a raised open element that can lower PCB temperatures by approximately 20°C compared to similar molded or ceramic housed devices. The resistors have a flameproof, all-welded design with inductance less than 10 nH and current handling to 70 A.
The resistors are available in 1-, 3-, and 5-W sizes, in tolerances down to 1% with TCR down to ±20 ppm, and resistance values as low as 2.5 mΩ. (From $0.14 to $0.33 ea/1,000 — available now.)
