The design of the B82802* series SMD flyback transformers is based on low-profile SMT EFD15, EFD20, and EFD25 core sizes and allows for insertion heights of 8.65 to 14.8 mm. The transformers offer a power range of 12 to 55 W and suit input voltages between 36 and 60 V at a clock frequency of 100 kHz with a duty ratio of up to 50%.
Output power is divided between two or three windings in standard versions, for voltages of 3.3 V at currents of 1.2 to 3.3 A; 5 V at 0.8 to 5.5 A; and 12 V at 0.5 to 2.3 A. The transformers are tested for breakdown at 1,500 Vac, with operating temperatures of –40° and 125°C, and ambient temperatures to 85°C. (Contact company for pricing — available now.)
