30-W dc/dc converters feature 4:1 input

The KMW series dc/dc converters offer up to 30-W regulated output power in a 2 x 1.6-in. footprint. It features a 4:1 input range with nominal input voltages of 24 and 48 Vdc. Single outputs offered are 3.3, 5, 12, and 15 Vdc. Dual outputs are ±12 and ±15 Vdc.

The converters provide remote on/off, output trim, and over temperature protection. The operating ambient temperature range is –40 to 50°C with no derating. The non-derated temperature range can be extended to 60C ambient with an optional heat sink. The unit is encapsulated with a thermally conductive potting compound in an anodized aluminum case.
