The SC410, part of the EcoSpeed converter family features a 3-A output and a 5.5 to 24-V input range. It suits lithium-ion battery packs and charging adapters or regulated 12- or 18-V main power supply rails in embedded applications for industrial, networking, communications, office automation, and consumer digital electronic products.
The regulator features patented adaptive on-time architecture to manage standby and full current demands. It uses a control loop to dynamically adjust the input and output voltages. The device is programmable from 200 kHz to 1 MHz. A high-side FET turn-on technology helps reduce EMI. It incorporates soft-start, has dedicated power-good and enable pins, and has cycle-by-cycle current limit and short circuit, over and under output voltage, and overtemperature protection.
