The IP67-rated family now includes a connector compliant with USB 2.0 specifications for use in a variety of applications, including industrial production and factory automation. The water-resistant USB connectors are housed in black plastic and nickel-plated zinc die-cast with a bayonet locking termination rated to IEC 61076-3-106 specifications.
The connector’s contacts are phosphor bronze and gold-plated with a contact resistance rated at 30 mΩ max and insulation resistance of 500 mΩ. Current ratings are 1.5 A max at 25°C, and operating temperature ranges from –40° to 85°C. (Contact company for pricing and availability.)
