The K50 series Kinetis 32-bit microcontrollers are built on the ARM Cortex-M4 core. The devices feature an analog measurement engine with operational and transimpedance amplifiers, 16-bit A/D converters, and 12-bit D/A converters. Security features include a CRC generator, a cryptographic acceleration unit, and a random number generator.
The 72- and 100-MHz MCUs have up to 512 Kbytes of flash and 128 Kbytes of RAM, DMA and vector interrupt controllers, and a power management controller. They also have a touch sensor input, an LCD controller, a 10/100 Ethernet MAC, USB 2.0 OTG, SPI, I2C, and a secure digital host controller (SDHC). (From $3.58 ea/10,000 — samples available June.)
