Interconnects suit high-pin-count I/O apps

The 804 and 805 series interconnects feature a triple-row pin field, which allows for densely packed signal connections in high-pin-count I/O and board-to-board applications. The RoHS-compliant connectors are offered on a 2.54-mm grid, have high-temperature thermoplastic insulators, and are available in configurations from 9 to 96 positions, in increments of 3.

Both the 804 series header pins (10 µin.) and the 805 series receptacle internal contacts (30 µin.) feature hard gold plating for conductivity and wear resistance. The 805 series receptacles have a 4.5-A current rating, socket pins plated with 200-µin. pure matte tin and a precision-stamped beryllium copper #47 contact clip with a 0.64 to 0.94-mm diameter pin acceptance range or a 0.64-mm square post.
