The Microtips high-resolution 7.0-in. TFT LCD provides 1,024 x 600-pixel resolutions with a multitouch capacitive touch panel. In high volumes, the units are priced at about $50 each.
The display provides true five-point multitouch, improved resolution and response, and support for cover-glass designs. The module also features an LVDS interface, 500:1 contrast ratio, 200-nit LED backlight, reduced mechanical depth, and a 140° view cone. (About $50 ea / prod qty available now.)
