Eval kit drives three-phase brushless motors
The DRV8312-C2-KIT motor control evaluation kit for controlling BLDC and permanent magnet synchronous motors uses the DRV8312 PWM motor driver IC and a 32-bit C2000 Piccolo MCU. The kit has a quick-start GUI, full development source code, a full version of Code Composer Studio IDE, and a three-phase BLDC motor.
The platform supports sensorless field-oriented control, and sensorless and sensored trapezoidal commutation control at up to 6.5 A, without the need for a costly heat sink. By adding a shaft encoder, the kit can also support sensored field-oriented control. ($299 — available now.)
