The I/O Server Industrial PC (IOS-7400 or IOS-7200) is a ruggedized computer for applications with extreme temperatures, shock, and vibration and has UL certification for Class I Division 2 Group A, B, C, D hazardous locations with volatile substances. The unit has a carrier card that holds up to four plug-in function modules.

The I/O Server uses a an Intel Atom N270 or AMD Geode LX800 CPU, has no internal cables and has fanless conduction cooling with operation from –40° to 75°C. The unit has up to 1 Gbyte of DDR2, a VGA port, two Ethernet ports, two serial ports, four USB ports, a CompactFlash slot, and a 2.5-in. PATA hard disk or SSD. It takes 9 to 32 Vdc at 60 W max and 30 W typ. (From $1,695 — available now.)
