VCXO claims to offer 10x better pull, linearity over quartz VCXOs

Suited for telecom, networking, and embedded applications, the SiT3808 and SiT3809 MEMS-based VCXOs offer sub-picosecond jitter as well as unique features such as ±1,600-ppm pull range and 1% linearity that are claimed to be 10 times better than quartz. The SiT3808 operates between 1 to 80 MHz, and the SiT3809 operates from 80 to 220 MHz.

They feature LVCMOS output and provide any frequency within the operating range with best-in-class six decimal places of accuracy, The parts operate at 1.8 V and 2.5 to 3.3 V over the temperature range –40° to 85°C and –20° to 70°C. In addition, they are 100% drop-in replacements for existing solutions and are available in industry-standard 4-pin 3225, 6-pin 5032, and 6-pin 7050 packages.
