16-bit MCU targets automotive relay control

The S12VR64 16-bit microcontroller is designed for use in control of dc motors for automotive window lift and sunroof applications with connection to a LIN automotive body network. The IC uses LL18UHV technology for mixed-signal operation. The 12-V devices can withstand the up-to-40-V requirements of the automotive environment.

The device is included in a longevity program, with assured supply for a minimum of 15 years, and is expected to receive AEC-100 certification soon.
