Featuring a highly secure five tumbler locking mechanism, the CKM series 16-mm keylock switches are ideal for applications ranging from control and automation environments to computers and communication equipment to military and medical devices. The series also features high reliability due to a vertically rotating switching mechanism, self-cleaning sliding silver contacts, and epoxy-sealed solder lug terminals.
Rated at 3 A at 250 Vac, the series also features an operating temperature from –25° to 70°C and a dielectric strength of 1,500 V between contacts and case, which is guaranteed. They can also withstand humidity at 90% to 95% for up to 240 hours at 40°C. These keylock switches are constructed of fiberglass reinforced PBT insulation material and can withstand 15 kV of electrostatic discharge, designating them as antistatic devices. Keys are available in flat or tubular styles, with flat keys being reversible for easier setting. (Contact company for pricing — available now.)
