Open-frame 150-W supplies target volume apps

The VFT series single-output ac/dc power supplies suit high-volume applications. They are packaged in a 3 x 5-in. format and measure 1.4-in. high. The supplies provide 150-W output when force-cooled with 15-cfm airflow, and 100-W output when convection cooled. It operates from a 90 to 264-Vac input and has active power factor correction.

The ac/dc supplies provide +5-, +12-, +15-, + 24- or +48-Vdc outputs, and have a no load power consumption of less that 0.5-W and average efficiency ranging from 83 to 90%. The supply features overvoltage, overload and short-circuit protection, tight load and line regulation together with a remote sense capability. The 12-V model is available with optional blocking diode. Accommodating the 90 to 264-Vac input range, the series delivers full power from −10 to +50C, and up to +70C with derating.
