The element14 knode online design platform is focused exclusively on the needs of electronic design engineers. Based on initial specification, it automates the creation of explicit dependencies and inter-relationships with other system-level components to quickly build a custom design flow — with development kits, design tools, operating systems and stacks, intellectual property, or services such as PCB design or manufacture.

The site’s Learning Centre provides a library of content — including how-to videos, application notes, and technical documentation — to help a user research various technologies, platforms, and associated core components. The site allows you to join a “group” based on application, product/technology, or special interest. It also provides forums for discussions in areas ranging from product/technology and applications to design recommendations. The site will have additional features in the near future.
