The BGE 3508/6005 four-quadrant dc motor controllers come with a footprint slightly larger than a matchbox. The BGE 3508 model is designed for 10 to 30-V input and yields 75 W continuous and 225-W peak output, while the BGE 6005 has a 60-V input and produces 120 W continuous and 300 W peak.
These 47 x 75 x 20-mm controllers are suitable for use with brushless or brushed dc motors in CANopen networks or in standalone operation with digital or analog I/O. The control can be commanded to run the motor in either direction, stop and hold with torque, and stop without torque (coast). Accel/decal ramps can also be programmed.
