Power MOSFETs improve car electrical efficiency
The STripFET VI DeepGATE family of n-channel power MOSFETs offer nine new automotive-grade devices that deliver improved energy efficiency for cars. The devices minimize the energy normally lost in electrical drives and controls, leading to greater efficiency, while simultaneously reducing heat generation.
The MOSFET series are AEC-Q101-qualified and feature 30 and 40-V breakdown voltage, a current rating from 44 to 80 A and an operating temperature from -55 to 175C. The devices offer low conduction losses relative to their active chip size, and feature 3.0 to 12.5-mΩ on-resistance in industry-standard DPAK or D2PAK surface-mount power packages. (From $0.50 to $1.80 ea/1,000 – available now.)
