Tamper-resistant antennas combine with UFL connectors

WRT Series 868- and 916-MHz antennas are now available with UFL/MHF-compatible connectors, addressing the need for small, tamper-resistant, and unobtrusive antenna solutions. The small (19×11-mm) 868-MHz, 916-MHz, or 2.45-GHz device installs through a small hole and is anchored by a threaded base. An adhesive foam compression ring assists in resisting the elements.

Used for such applications as wireless vending, security, traffic, and power equipment, the antenna features an integral counterpoise, reducing the need for a proximity ground plane. The coaxial feed is available with SMA or RP-SMA terminations. Alternative coaxial lengths, connectors, and custom colors are available.
