Analog phase shifter covers one octave BW

The HMC934LP5E GaAs MMIC analog phase shifter is suitedl for phased-array, industrial sensors, and clock and local oscillator (LO) synchronization applications in fiber optics, military, test equipment, and industrial/medical equipment. It is controlled via an analog control voltage from 0 to 13 V, and provides a continuously variable relative phase shift of up to 400 from 1 to 2 GHz.

The part exhibits an insertion loss of 3.5 dB and the insertion loss characteristic is consistent versus phase shift setting and input frequency. The insertion phase of the HMC934LP5E is monotonic with respect to control voltage and offers a typical phase flatness of 3.5 /–2° vs. input frequency. It is housed in a compact, RoHS compliant 5 x 5-mm QFN SMT plastic package. ($48.97 ea/10 — available now.)
