Hi-rel dc-link capacitors have 100,000-hour life

Addressing the short-life expectancy caused by harsh operating conditions of wind and photovoltaic installations, dc-link power film capacitors use segmented self-healing metallized polypropylene, internally fused using a T-design pattern, giving them a life expectancy of over 100,000 hours.

The capacitors feature voltage ratings to 1,300 Vdc, low ESR (1 to 4.3 mΩ, typ) and low ESL (50 to 80 nH, typ), ripple currents up to 70 A rms from 10 to 100 kHz, and a capacitance range of 160 to 680 µF standard. All capacitors are tested to the environmental specifications of MIL-STD-202, and come in a compact, cost-effective design.
