Cortex M4 based MCUs feature floating point

The low power Stellaris Cortex-LM4Fxxx 32-bit microcontrollers use a Cortex-M4F core. They include 40 versions with a floating-point unit and up to 256 Kbytes of 40 MHz flash. The devices feature two 12-bit 1 Ms/s A/D converters with 24 input channels and stand-by current of 1.7 µa with the RTC running.

The ICs all work over the industrial temperature range at up to 80 Mhz and have a voltage regulator, a vectored interrupt controller, DMA, and a ROM loaded with StellarisWare software including a peripheral driver library, a boot loader, AES tables, CRC, and error detection. They optionally include two CAN 2.0 controllers, USB 2.0, six I2C ports, and up to 16 advanced PWM outputs. (From $1.53 ea/10,000 samples now, production Q4.)l
